Westwood Town Hall

Westwood was incorporated as a village in 1868 and annexed by Cincinnati in 1896. The core of the neighborhood includes several buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Westwood Town Hall. Many of Westwood’s founders were German immigrants, which is reflected in the area’s home architecture; also part of Westwood’s housing history are wealthy Cincinnati industrialists, including Proctor & Gamble founder James Gamble.

In addition to being convenient to downtown and interstates, Westwood’s north boundary adjoins Mount Airy Forest, Cincinnati’s largest park-indeed, with its 1,470 acres, one of the largest municipal parks in the United States.

Historic homes in the Westwood Town Hall area were built between 1880 and 1935 and include some Victorian Vernacular, with an abundance of Arts and Crafts and Colonial Tudor revivals, bungalows and foursquares. Prices range from $125,000 to $750,000.
