Bordered by neighborhoods such as Northside, Clifton, College Hill, and Winston Hills and the city of St. Bernard, Spring Grove Village was once a railroad town incorporated in 1882 and annexed to the City of Cincinnati in 1903. Situated in the Mill Creek Valley, many of the homes in Spring Grove Village were designed by famous Cincinnati architect Samuel Hannaford, bearing his signature. Hannaford resided in Spring Grove Village and was its first and only mayor. It is most known for the nationally significant Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum.
