Settled in 1795, Kennedy Heights was named after Lewis Kennedy who was one of the area’s first developers who had the idea to create an ideal suburban development with numerous trees planted to give the neighborhood a park like feel. Many of its streets are named after English writers, to give off the impression you are in the English countryside. Kennedy also built the Yononte Inn, which was built as an ideal suburban resort as a respite from the city. It shares its border with Pleasant Ridge and Silverton and situated in the Northeastern side of the city of Cincinnati.
