Sayler Park

The westernmost neighborhood of Cincinnati, Sayler Park adjoins the north bank of the Ohio River and calls itself “Cincinnati’s Western Gateway.” In 1909, three villages combined to create Sayler Park; the neighborhood was annexed by Cincinnati in 1911. Sayler Park is today known for its charming, sleepy small-town feel. In addition to a cozy central business area, Sayler Park features many parks, some of which are riverside. Another attraction is the Short Woods Park Mound, a Native American historical archaeological site listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Historic homes in the Sayler Park riverside neighborhood tend to be Victorian in Italianate, Queen Anne, and Vernacular styles.
