Victorian Christmas Home Tour and Tea

Each year, the East Row Historical Foundation hosts an incredible Christmas tour that showcases beautiful, restored homes on East Row. Visitors may walk through the homes, which reflect Queen Anne and Italianate architecture styles. Interior features include original staircases, fireplace mantles and woodwork. While garlands and greenery are hardly needed for the homes, which are selected for their distinctive interiors and exteriors and historic design, the residences will be decorated in their best holiday finery.

The 24th Annual East Row Victorian Christmas Tour of the East Row Historic Foundation will be held this year on December 1st and 2nd and Team Sanregret is thrilled to be one of the event sponsors.

In conjunction with the Tour the Foundation will also be offering the Victorian Christmas Tea, and if you act quickly you just might be able to get a seat! Settings for the Tea will be at 11AM, 1:30PM, and 4PM.

The Tour will be held each day between 12:00 to 6:00.

There will be 7 homes open for touring and 2 points of interest. The East Row Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the second largest historic district in Kentucky. Visitors can walk through houses which reflect Queen Anne and Italianate architectural styles. Interior features include original staircases, fire places mantles and woodwork. The residences will be decorated in their best holiday finery. Besides holiday décor visitors will see newly renovated kitchens, master suites, and bathrooms. The Christmas Tea will feature a traditional savory sweet English tea and tea sandwiches, scones (with homemade cream and jam), assorted cakes, tarts, and cookies.

Tickets for each event are separate. Tour tickets are $16.00 in advance at eastrow.org or $18.00 on the days of the event. Tickets for the Tea are $30.00 but can be purchased on line ONLY. All tickets can be picked up at the Movement Church at 415 East 8th Street in Newport.
